1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CaptainDirect, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

2. Our Role

CaptainDirect is a directory and booking platform connecting anglers with independent fishing charter captains. We do not own, operate, or control the charter businesses listed on our platform. The contract for the charter service is directly between the angler and the captain.

3. For Captains

Captains listing their services on CaptainDirect must maintain valid licenses, permits, and insurance required by their local jurisdiction. Captains are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, availability calendars, and pricing. CaptainDirect charges a flat monthly subscription fee rather than commission on bookings.

4. Booking and Cancellations

Each captain sets their own cancellation and refund policy, which is displayed during the booking process. Anglers are responsible for reading and understanding these policies before completing a booking.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall CaptainDirect or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on CaptainDirect's website, even if CaptainDirect has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.
